Baby on the Move

It's still so surreal knowing there's new life growing inside me. I'm feeling a little more pregnant but things still haven't kicked in full force yet. Knowing I'm past the half way mark, I'm ready to start feeling pregnant. I'm still going to the gym at least 4 days a week and thus far, still able to maintain my old workouts. My doctor said I'll most likely have a growth spurt in the next 4 weeks so I may have to alter my workout but knowing I can still be active makes me happy.

It seems our baby boy enjoys being active too. He's most active at night just after dinner - around 7:30 or so. Chris and I sit on the couch and just watch my stomach as our little man explores his moving limbs. I've read that he sleeps about 16-20 hours a day but I can assure you, during those few hours he's awake, he's wasting no time. These are the moments that feel so surreal yet make me wonder how anybody could ever question the greatness of our God. I look forward to knowing our son will one day have the opportunity to experience His greatness as well!
