We are truly blessed and had a wonderful holiday with the family. I made the boys get up on Thanksgiving morning to cut down a huge tree in the front yard. It was quite scary actually - dad started crawling up the tree with no support whatsoever, with a chainsaw in hand and started at it. Chris stayed on the ground with the rope to make sure the limbs didn't land on the house as they came falling to the ground. The tree was down in less than an hour...I was very impressed.
We went to my aunt's for the afternoon and had a great time. There were 19 of us total so we had a full house. My cousin's boyfriend and his family came over and my mother-in-law was with us so we had several families together. Devon's boyfriend, Carlo, brought his grandfather who spoke no english so it was very fun to watch him and dad talk. Dad has been studying the spanish language for some time now so it was nice to see his efforts pay off.
